Machine Readable Passport

As i said earlier, i was going abroad to start work. But unfortunately , my path is not always so easy. Suddenly today i received a call saying that my passport cant be used for visa processing , because its old passport. Nowdays everyone has digital passport. My passport is still manual passport(the one which has ur name hand written on it) .The reason is, because in Malaysia, the Pakistani Embassy doesnt have the facility to produce digital passport, so everytime i renew my passport here, i will get the manual one. So now, in order to make a new passport, i will have to go all the way to Pakistan. hmmmm.
